Slot: functional_form¶
Shape of the term's relationship to the measure. A squared term with a negative coefficient is an inverted-U relationship, not a negative association, so non-linear and transformed terms must not be recorded as linear. A model fitting both a linear and a quadratic form of the same measurement has two terms, not one.
Not where a product is recorded: a non-empty interaction_with is what makes a column a product.
